All Harding juniors and sophomores will be taking the PSAT Wednesday morning after fall break, October 16. For juniors the PSAT is the qualifying test for National Merit Scholarship consideration. For sophomores, it is practice for the following year.
Information is available at the College Board website. Click here. Harding counselors have met with students in preparation for the PSAT, as well, and students have access to free test practice through Naviance.
It is important for students to get 8-9 hours of sleep the night before the test and to eat a good, protein-filled breakfast the day of the test.
PSAT is Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test.
