We have two exciting events planned for junior parents and students to kick off the official beginning of the college application process on April 28.
College Kick-off Day for Juniors
12:00 p.m.–2:35 p.m.
After the students take the ACT in the morning, we have a special program in the afternoon planned to educate them about the college application process. Students will enjoy a lunch provided by the counseling office and then hear from a panel of four college representatives about the different steps in the college application process. The program will conclude with break-out sessions with the representatives designed to help students learn more about particular college-related topics.
College Planning Night for Parents
6:30 p.m.–8:30 p.m
This is an educational night for junior parents to learn about the steps in the college planning process. A panel of college representatives will explain the process at different types of universities. Mrs. Banker will present on other college-related topics. This meeting will be held in the library.
