Whew! Your child passed Algebra I, but it was just by the skin of his or her teeth! A final grade of D or a low C in Algebra I does not bode well for success in Algebra II next year.
Algebra II is considered one of the most challenging mathematics courses in any school, and Harding is no exception. Students need a strong foundation in Algebra I as they enter Algebra II.
Even if your student did not fail Algebra I, he or she might benefit from some summer review.
Harding is offering Algebra I taught by Mrs. Pasco Howard. Classes will meet June 1–19, 8:00–11:00, Monday through Friday. The cost is $400 to be paid at the first class meeting.
